Tolerant of wind, heat, humidity, and drought.

Once established, water only if very dry. Needs well draining soil.
Fast growing; reaches 3 to 4 ft.
During the winter, the light leaf centers take on rose overtones.
In mid summer, spectacular sturdy flower stalks rise 3-4 feet tall from the center of the plant.
